Muhammad Shaqir Haqqimie- Day 14

Specialist Appointment 10.00am today.
Jumpa doktor.
Kena ambil sample darah dan air kencing.
Kesian dengan Shaqir....menangis meraung hampir setengah jam
sebab tak jumpa urat nak ambil darah.
Tuhan saja yang tahu perasaan saya selama setengah jam tu.....
Tengahari baru selesai.
Balik rumah dan Shaqir kena banyak minum susu.
Keputusan hanya akan diketahui dalam tempoh 2 minggu.
Kena jumpa doktor lagi on 11/Feb/10.

Shock........
S/B reading rise again to 14.5
Have to come for the test again this evening....
Susah hatinye .....
In the evening the reading rise again to 15.2
The doctor said cannot admit to the ward anymore
because Shaqir cannot undergo billi light therapy anymore.
Billi light therapy is for baby below 14 days.
The doctor arrange for the appointment with the specialist
on 28 Jan 2010.

Today S/B reading drop to 13.9.
Lega la sikit....
But have to do the test again tomorrow.

We were at the clinic again for the test.
The result is not good enough.
S/B reading just drop 0.2 to 15.4.
The doctor is not satisfied.
Insist to do the test again tomorrow.

We were shock to find out that today's
S/B is high 15.6
The doctor ask to come again for the test tomorrow.

But the nurse came and ask to go for the test

S/B reading for today has drop to 13.9.
M. Shaqir and Ummi is discharge from the ward.

S/B reading has rise up to = 15.9
The reading is high and M. Shaqir is admitted to ward
M. Shaqir is undergoing bili light therapy.
Blood sample is againn taken for the test in the evening and at night.
The result extremely high in the evening = 18.0
and for the night = 15.3
M. Shaqir and Ummi sleep at the hospital ward tonight.
M. Amsyar mengamuk cari Ummi.....
At last terlena keletihan dok cari Ummi.
What is Bili light therapy?
A bili light is a phototherapy tool to treat newborn jaundice (hyperbilirubinemia) which in higher levels causes brain damage Kernicterus leading to cerebral palsy, auditory neuropathy, gaze abnormalities and dental enamel hypoplasia. The therapy uses a blue light (420-470 nm) that converts bilirubin so that it can be excreted in the urine and feces. Soft eye shields are placed on the baby to protect their eyes from damage that may lead to retinopathy due to the bili lights

S/B reading has drop. Will be going for the check again
tomorrow.
